HYDRAFACIAL

A HydraFacial is a facial treatment using a device to deliver exfoliation, cleansing, extraction, and hydration to the face. This system uses a vortex swirling action to deliver hydration and remove dead skin, dirt, debris, and impurities while cleaning and soothing your skin.

Unlike traditional facial treatments that can have different effects depending on your skin type and practitioner, the HydraFacial provides consistent results and can be used on all skin types. With no downtime or irritation, it’s the ideal treatment for those looking to boost their skin.

HydraFacial treatments can be used in conjunction with LED light therapy. Blue light can help with acne, while red light can help reduce the visibility of wrinkles. At Dermaline Aesthetics, we offer a range of HydraFacial treatments. Choose from our HydraFacial Express, Signature HydraFacial, HydraTite or HydraGenesis. To learn more about our different HydraFacial treatments, please see the ‘frequently asked questions’ section below.

  • Why choose Dermaline Aesthetics for anti-wrinkle treatments?
As a registered nurse and advanced aesthetics practitioner, Charlotte Cliffe combines medical expertise with an artistic eye for natural-looking results. Our Berkhamsted clinic provides a professional, clinical environment where safety and personalised care are paramount.
  • What happens during the consultation?
Your consultation with Charlotte includes a thorough facial assessment and discussion of your concerns. The £25 consultation deposit is redeemable against treatment, ensuring dedicated time to create your personalised treatment plan.
  • How do anti wrinkle treatments work?
Anti-wrinkle treatments are advanced injectable treatments used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines on the face. The treatment works by temporarily relaxing specific facial muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles. As an advanced aesthetics practitioner, Charlotte Cliffe precisely targets areas such as the forehead, between the eyebrows (frown lines), and around the eyes (crow's feet) to create natural-looking results that typically last 3-4 months.
  • Do anti wrinkle injections hurt?
Most clients experience minimal discomfort during treatment. As a registered nurse, Charlotte uses precise injection techniques and can offer topical numbing cream if needed. The treatment is quick, typically taking just 15-30 minutes to complete.
  • When will I see results?
Results develop gradually over 3-14 days, with optimal results visible after 2 weeks. This ensures a natural-looking enhancement that doesn't appear obvious or overdone.
  • How long do anti wrinkle treatments last?
The effects of your anti-wrinkle treatment will typically last between three to four months, depending on the individual and the treated area. After this time, the muscles will gradually regain their movement, and the wrinkles and lines will start to reappear. It is recommended to schedule follow-up appointments to maintain the desired results. At Dermaline Aesthetics, Charlotte will customise a treatment plan for you and provide you with expert advice on how often you should receive anti-wrinkle injections to achieve the best results.
  • What aftercare should I follow?
Post-treatment care is straightforward. For optimal results, we recommend: • Avoiding strenuous exercise for 24 hours • Staying upright for 4 hours after treatment • Not touching or massaging the treated areas • Avoiding alcohol and blood-thinning medications We provide comprehensive aftercare instructions and stock iS CLINICAL skincare products to support your skin health post-treatment.
  • Can I combine anti-wrinkle treatments with other treatments?
Yes, anti-wrinkle treatments can be effectively combined with other treatments like dermal fillers, HIFU, or RF microneedling for comprehensive rejuvenation. During your consultation, we can discuss the best treatment combination for your goals.
  • How much do dermal fillers cost?
Treatment costs vary depending on the areas treated and amount of product needed. During your consultation, Charlotte will provide a detailed treatment plan with transparent pricing. The £25 consultation fee is redeemable against your treatment.
